Phew! What a day... NEW!    NEWS!    NEW!    NEWS   !NEW!  NEW!  NEW!

Attended the Christchurch Arts Guild demonstration "Abstracts in the Landscape" given by Penny Wilton. Certainly an eye opening session. I think many members of a realism nature were shaking their heads quite a lot. But I say thank you Penny for giving everyone a different view on possibilities as an Artist.
Penny showed over 60 people how to look at the world from a totally new viewpoint. Re-arranging everything to form a pattern with which to create something new. drawing on shape, colour and design. I took over 8 pages of notes and have enough to provide the basis for an interesting tutorial so keep coming back folks !

Remember if you have an exhibition you want to place details on the exhibition pages email the details and that will be put up post haste.

David's Day
Made good progress on the Wimborne Minster painting should be ready for the Sunday Market, and will be available to purchase online soon in both original and printed format.
I've also started a new painting of John Lennon (approx A2) based on an idea I had of combining a strong wet in wet sky with a sepia portrait image ghosted in - should be an interesting piece when complete. thank you again Penny Wilton for a lovely evenings demo.
